A Note from Lisa's Daughter

Hi Everyone,

I’m Lisa’s oldest daughter Elizabeth! I go by Ellie, but I am my aunts namesake, and I think that’s telling of her and my mom’s relationship. I think it is special that Aunt Liz is the one to bring light back to her case, and telling this truth doing what she loves.  For that I am very grateful. It’s refreshing, in a way, to know her story hasn’t been left in the dark. Many others who were killed by the hands of authorities, didn’t get their stories told, nor the justice my grandparents, Rocky, and Walter fought for. In my eyes, it is unfortunately a luxury to have a chance to fight the system, let alone be able to be heard. With that I want to thank you all for supporting my aunt, the wonderful cast, and team that have worked so hard to share her story and bring awareness.
